Energy Technology Control (ETC) is pleased to announce the appointment of a new UK Sales and Global Technical Support Specialist, bringing extensive experience and enthusiasm to the team.
Our new team member began his career as an Avionics Technician through an apprenticeship with British Aerospace (BAe) in Kingston Upon Thames, where he also gained his HND in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. From there, he worked in a variety of engineering and management roles, including:
- Progress Chaser at Racal Marine Radar
- Special Projects Manager at Callaway Golf UK Ltd
- Operations Manager at Musik Produktiv UK
- After Sales / Service Manager at Rondo UK
His professional experience covers all aspects of engineering, from production through to sales and technical support, making him a valuable asset to the ETC team.
When asked why he was drawn to ETC, he said: “I was looking for a new challenge in an industry that I hadn’t worked in before.” He also brings a calm approach to dealing with customer issues, something he has developed throughout his career by building strong relationships and gaining trust with customers.
In his new role, he will be responsible for UK Sales and providing Global Technical Support. He is particularly focused on learning all the technical support details to quickly and effectively assist customers, ensuring they receive the highest levels of service.
Outside of work, he has spent over 40 years in Surrey before recently moving to Eastbourne, where he discovered a fun fact – the popular 1980s dessert, the Arctic Roll, was invented in his new hometown. His personal interests include golf, music, and spending time with his four grandchildren. When asked where he’d like to travel, he said he has always wanted to visit Canada or New Zealand because both countries have stunning landscapes.
ETC is excited to have him on board and looks forward to the expertise and fresh perspective he will bring to the team.
