We are excited to announce that Matthew Perryman has joined ETC as our new Export Sales and Marketing Manager. With over a decade of experience in technical sales and training, primarily within the defence and policing sectors, Matthew brings a wealth of expertise to ETC.
Previously, Matthew served as a Ballistic Support Engineer at Sydor Technologies, a company speclialising in providing ballistic test and measurement equipment. He has also worked as an associate for a private company dedicated to training police forces in forensic and interviewing techniques, where he created comprehensive training manuals for various modules.
Matthew confirmed ETC’s focus on safety and its highly technical specialisms were two of the main things which attracted him to the role which will involve the development of overseas client relationships, and work on increasing brand awareness through targeted marketing campaigns.
Hailing from Harlow, Essex – which is known as the birthplace of fibre optics – Matthew is an experienced traveller having conducted installations in over 25 countries and is keen to add to his already impressive knowledge of cultures and customs.
Matthew’s first aim is to refresh ETC’s branding and establish a handful of new export clients. We are thrilled to have Matthew on board and look forward to the fresh perspective he will bring to our team.
